Duchenne III

2001

This painting is inspired on visits to universities where scientists investigate cures for Duchenne muscular dystrofie. With all kind of color materials they try to proof that their medicine did or did not arrrive in cells. The aquarel is weth  in weth where first a lino print was done and later paint has been removed again and in white in a cirkel a Tibetan poem is painted. this painting is part of 3 works (3 for the price of 2). The painting comes in a passe partout containing the English transcription of the Tibitan text, in a frame of 70 x 100 cm. January 2001.
